come installare un driver postscript
Esistono diversi modi per installare un driver per una stampante virtuale Postscript;
questa che segue è una guida molto semplice e dettagliata per windows NT, della Optical Society of America;
informazioni sull'installazione per altre piattaforme sono qui;
- Download the file Apple230.ppd
and save it in the WINNT directory on your system's
hard drive.
- Start Button/Settings/Control Panel/
- Printers (double click)
- Add Printer (double Click)
The next screen should be a small box called "Add
Printer Wizard" and should show 2 radio buttons: My
Computer and Network printer server. If "my
computer" option is greyed out, you need network
access to install a new postscript printer driver. If so,
please call your IS department. Otherwise, click on
"my computer" an the Next button.
- From the Available Ports list, scroll to the bottom to
selet "file: local port" and click Next
- From the Manufacturers list, select Apple; from the
printer list select "Apple LaswerWriter v23.0"
and click next.
- The next window should show "Apple LaswerWriter
v23.0" and No as the selected options; if so, click
next.
- Choose "Not Shared" from the next window &
click next.
- The wizard will then ask you to insert a CD-Rom... click
OK.
- from the next window, select "browse" from the
lower righ corner and find the apple230.ppd file you
saved to your hard drive in step 1; click OK; then click
done
- Again, the system will ask you for a disk; again, browse
'till you find the "pscript.dll" file in:
WINNT\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86; if it's not there,
do a file- find from your start button for that file and
then browse to it. Note: if neither of these things work,
contact your systems administrator.
- Select the option to print a test document.
